In today’s post-pandemic climate, we’ve seen major shakeups for some career service providers. So it can be very easy to think your resume writing or career coaching business is being hurt by AI tools like ChatGPT and Bard.
But is it truth?
If you hear it enough you can begin to believe it, yet no one wants to believe the death of their business and their mission to help job seekers could be coming.
We set out to determine if career services businesses were really being hurt and losing market share to AI tools with our 2023 Industry Analysis survey.
The survey was deployed to our global association membership to sample AI usage and avoidance, perception of impact on their businesses, and where each participant fell regarding sales and profits that were declining, staying the same, or increasing from 2022 to 2023.
We’ve put approximately 40 hours into cross-referencing the data to determine what really is behind businesses that are declining and/or growing, as well as why and how to lean into AI.
All this data will be shared across social media in a weekly livestream show on Wednesday at 3:45 PM Eastern.
