Welcome to the CEIC Live course!
Getting Started
Live Sessions: Sessions are scheduled at 3:00 PM Eastern on 9/06, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/04, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, and 11/01. Information on accessing the calls or webinars will be provided as we near our first session. Recordings will be available from this page. Note: We did host a final call on 11/08 since there was one less call due to the hurricane.
Modules: Modules will be made available from this page on the Friday afternoon prior to the upcoming class. Some weeks will have single modules and others will have multiple. It depends on how challenging and/or time consuming the materials are each week.
About the Curriculum: Please keep in mind that you have most likely not encountered a training program assembled in this manner before. You will be reading/studying a conversational, lecture-format program (Modules 2-19) that is color coded to allow you to use the program as a guide for presenting the material. What you are reading is actually what you could be saying, line for line, to an individual client or group. The color coding provides visual clues as to what to say, what to hand out and when, and what activities to consider offering for group participation. Of course, you will adapt this to your own needs and pull from the sections most relevant to your clients/business structure.
Weekly Actions: Download and study the modules when they are made available so that you can best take advantage of the live sessions to ask questions and get coaching. Save the modules so you can later use them in crafting your interview programs. Complete homework assignments and include them in a Word document you will submit after you complete the course.
Facebook Group: To get the most out of the group, join the closed group, CEIC Live here. This is where you can gain support from fellow members, read announcements, and/or find a study buddy. Buddies aren’t mandatory but can help you get more comfortable with practicing the topics (mock interview scenario).
Certification Submission Deadline: Your portfolio of homework assignments (single MS Word document attached to an email) is due no later than December 13, 2017. Your email should be submitted to info@nullcareerdirectors.com. Please allow up to six weeks for response and feedback. At that time you will either be granted the certification or given feedback on what assignments need to be reworked and resubmitted. This deadline is FIRM.
