Writing resumes for professionals in the HR field can span a variety of career levels from HR Assistants to HR Generalists, Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents as well as specialties such as recruiting, HRIS implementation, and compensation and benefits administration, design, and/or analysis. The vast majority of clients in this field will belong to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and, aside from entry-level candidates, many will hold either the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. Other accreditations include the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) as well as numerous certifications for specific interviewing techniques and assessment methods. It is also common to see software for HR personnel listed on the resume such as PeopleSoft, ADP, SAP, Kronos, and Taleo, among others.
