The TORI resume awards will reopen in January 2020.
With TORI resume award registration closing tomorrow, Thursday, 6/27/19, I wanted to let you know about some exciting developments that will help winning resume writers get even greater exposure than before.
We’ve told you the TORIs have the best ROI in the industry for the low initial investment, but this is going to take it up a notch!
We’ve recently added three new ways that TORI resume writing award winners can gain added visibility. There’s actually a fourth BIG one coming, but it won’t be announced until it is live, which is still about a month out!
#1 – Featured Inclusion in Resumes for Dummies Book
As some former winners learned earlier this year, Resumes for Dummies now has a chapter dedicated to TORI winning-resumes. Those winners who were selected came from the last several years of TORI winners. They have their winning resume included, the category and place it ranked, and their contact information.
Future editions will offer this opportunity to upcoming winners as well.
#2 – Thumbnails of Winning Resumes + Link to Contact Information on TORI Winner’s Page
If you have visited the TORI award-winning resumes and their writers page recently, you might have noticed that we now have clickable thumbnails of each winning resume for 2018-2015 along with a brief description and a link to the winner’s CDI member profile. Prior years will be live very soon!
These REALLY get showcased when you look at them on a smart phone, since they come up one at a time!
In an age where the visual trumps all, this allows the many job seekers who visit this page the opportunity to gain an at-a-glance snapshot of the dynamic, winning resumes. The link to contact information will now make it possible with just one click for these prospects to see winner contact information!
Here’s what it looks like:
#3 – Visibility on Wiley Resumes for Dummies Web Page
Plans are currently in the works to feature TORI-winning resumes that were not selected for the 8th edition of Resumes for Dummies for a feature on the Wiley page for the book.
The web page contains advice and content for job seekers. We are likely to feature only a few resumes at a time, but this can mean tons of additional exposure for the individuals!
#4 – Something Else That’s Pretty Big
We’ve had something else big in the works for some time now. I wish I could tell you more, but you’ll just have to wait to see it.
But it does include an exclusive feature of resume samples just for past (and future) CDI resume award winners. Job seekers are going to be all over this and it’s sure to set some standards for the quality of professional resumes.
More on this one to come….
There is Still Time to Make 2019 Your Year for the TORIs
