Barb Poole

As President of Hire Imaging, LLC, Barb Poole has 30  years’ experience helping people explore, find, get and keep career dreams. Her global client portfolio has represented all industries, position levels and career transition situations. For the past few years, director and c-level executive clients have comprised the lion's share of her clients. She also provides outplacement, working with exiting employees to empower each for a successful transition.

As a career coach, strategist and writer, Barb helps her clients get unstuck, move forward, gain momentum, and land smarter--and faster.

Her suite of services includes career exploration, profiling companies, launching and project managing a targeted search (company and industry research, online search, etc.), branding, communications (resumes, LinkedIn and other online profiles, biographies, briefs, letters, scripts, and other marketing pieces), networking, interviewing,   salary negotiation, moving into entrepreneurial ventures, "career conqueror" success strategies on the job ... and more.

She served as a Career Consultant with Ricklin-Echikson Associates (REA), assisting an international client base with Fortune companies. Additional experience includes Human Resources Director for a national wholesaler; and writing hiring policies, interview strategies, and job descriptions for a 14-county non-profit emergency medical services agency.

Barb earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications.  She is a Certified Career Management Coach (CCMC) and Certified Leadership and Talent Management Coach (CLTMC). She is also completing the requirements for Certified Job Search Strategist (CJSS). 

Barb is one of a handful of resume writers worldwide who holds the certifications of Certified Executive Resume Writer (CERW) and Certified Master Resume Writer (CMRW) through CDI. She also earned the Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) certification through PARWCC.

She is also  Get Clear, Get Found, Get Hired (G3) and Certified 360Reach Analyst certified.Past credentials included Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Barb's professional affiliations include Career Directors International, the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Coaches, the National Resume Writers Association, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and formerly, Career Management Alliance. 

Barb currently serves on Career Directors International’s Credentialing Committee, as a Career Colleague Mentor, and since 2011, as a judge for CDI's TORI (Toast of the Resume Industry) international competition. Prior to serving as judge, she won multiple TORI awards for her writing.

She was a charter member of CDI’s former organization, PRWRA, and served as a Regional Representative for seven states.

Barb was active with her local Chamber of Commerce, as a graduate of their Leadership Program, on the Workforce Development Committee, and as a keynote speaker on career issues.
