Denise Fowler is a career development specialist who applies a strength based, positive framework towards inspiring individuals to find career happiness. She has spent 20 years working in nonprofit and higher education sectors, specializing in career advancement, professional leadership and community development. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C. in 2011 to work for Share our Strength as the Cooking Matters National Training Development Manager, Denise was the Assistant Dean of the Career Development Center at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. In 2014, she launched CareerHappinessCoach.com which offers individual coaching, workshops and consulting.
Denise has numerous certifications including in Global Career Development Facilitation, Wholebeing Institute's Positive Psychology, Positive Psychology Coaching and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She is currently the Class Assistant for the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology program through The Flourishing Center. Denise received her Bachelor degree in Political Science from Rutgers University and her Masters in Public Policy and Management from the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine.
