I operate Advantage Resumes and Career Services which I launched in 1999. Professional services include resume writing, interview coaching, and career planning profiles. I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Employment Interview Consultant and Certified Military Resume Writer.  I am also a member of the National Resume Writers Association, Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches and Career Directors International.


I have work published in several career guides including:  Barron's "Designing the Perfect Resume", Third Edition; "Expert Resumes for Managers and Executives"; "Expert Resumes for People Returning to Work" and "Resumes for the Rest of Us: Secrets from the Pros for Job Seekers with Unconventional Career Paths". I have spent many hours at local high schools and community colleges teaching career planning skills and participating in job fair events.


In addition to career services, I am a human resources consultant helping businesses needing assistance in establishing and developing their human resources operations.  I am a member of Capital Associated Industries (CAI) a non-profit employers’ association providing companies with management information, training, and services.


Prior to starting Advantage Resumes, I had 20+ years' experience in human resources management and safety in the manufacturing and banking industries.  My expertise includes policy development and implementation, wage and salary administration, manpower planning, organizational development, employment law and compliance, benefits administration, conflict resolution, safety management, college and technical recruiting, training design and implementation, orientation, events planning, and team building.
