John O'Connor

With 24+ years full-time in the career coaching, outplacement and career services business, John still brings a highly personalized approach to each client relationship, corporate or individual.

Among other accomplishments, Mr. O'Connor became the first private practice Certified Federal Job Search Trainer (CFJST) in North Carolina. "I started this business utilizing my creativity as a writer and I learned the career services area pretty quickly," says Mr. O'Connor.

With a unique fiction writing pedigree with fiction publications as well, he obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University, John runs the Triangle Executive Careers Group, bringing in a who's who of professional hiring authorities to his weekly meetings.

He has been featured numerous times on the major networks and just recently did a national interview on Hybrid Careers for CBS. Quoted in CNN Money, AOL Careers, The Wall Street Journal and Yahoo! Hotjobs, Mr. O'Connor also leads podcast discussions on numerous topics relevant to today's jobseekers on the Career Pro Inc. podcast on iTunes.
